CLASS | Knitting Foundations - September 2026

This three-part class is designed for complete beginners. Together we’ll build the foundational skills every knitter needs so you confidently cast on and bind off your own projects. Our instructor will walk you through each step in a relaxed, supportive environment where questions are always welcome. 

 

Over the course of three weeks, you’ll learn the core techniques that form the foundation of most knitting projects, including:

Through completing all three classes, you’ll understand the building blocks of knitting and have the confidence to start and complete your first real project!

Class Fee: $134 per student

Fee Includes: All three sessions and Beginner Knitting Kit

Beginner Knitting Kit: Each student will receive a curated Beginner Knitting Kit with everything needed to get started, including yarn (one skein of Malabrigo Rios), knitting needles, essential notions, and a beginner knitting guide to take home so you can continue practicing after class. 

Experience Level: No prior knitting experience is required. This class is designed for complete beginners. 

Who This Class is For: This class is designed for ages 16 and up. Students younger than 16 may attend if accompanied by a parent or guardian who is also registered for the class. Each participant must register separately, as class space is limited.
