Knitting in the Round Without DPNs Class

Want to knit socks, hats, and sweater sleeves but feel intimidated by small-circumference knitting? Tried double pointed needles (DPNs) and decided they weren’t for you? Good news – you have options, and you’ll learn them in this workshop.

In this relaxed, hands-on workshop, you’ll learn two popular techniques for knitting small circumferences without using DPSs. Our instructor will guide you through each method step by step in a supportive environment where questions are always welcome.

By the end of this two-hour class, you’ll understand the fundamental of both techniques and have the confidence to choose the one that works best for you.

In this class you’ll learn:

●        Knitting with two circular needles

●        Magic Loop

Please bring:

·       Approximately 50-100 yards of smooth, light-colored DK or worsted weight yarn

·       Two 24” circular needles in size appropriate for yarn

o   Cast on 40 stitches before class

·       One 36” or 40-42” circular needle in size appropriate for yarn

o   Cast on 40 stitches before class

Class Schedule:

●        Wednesday | 6:30-8:30 p.m.

Class Fee: $38 per student

Experience Level: This class is designed for advanced beginners who are comfortable with the knit stitch and knitting in the round on a larger project.

Who This Class is For: This class is designed for ages 16 and up. Students younger than 16 may attend if accompanied by a parent or guardian who is also registered for the class. Each participant must register separately, as class space is limited.

Class Policies:

●        Payment is due at time of registration to reserve your seat.

●        Due to limited seating, missed classes are non-refundable.

●        If you need to cancel, please notify us at least 7 days prior to class date. Cancellations received after December 2, 2026, will not be eligible for a refund unless we are able to find another learner to take your place.
