Curious about knitting but not sure where to start?
This three-part class is designed for complete beginners. Together we’ll build the foundational skills every knitter needs so you confidently cast on and bind off your own projects. Our instructor will walk you through each step in a relaxed, supportive environment where questions are always welcome.
Each class session provides two hours of small group instruction.
Over the course of three weeks, you’ll learn the core techniques that form the foundation of most knitting projects, including:
- How to cast on
- The knit stitch and purl stitch
- How to recognize and read your stitches
- How to bind off
- Plus tips for choosing yarn, needles, and beginner projects
Through completing all three classes, you’ll understand the building blocks of knitting and have the confidence to start and complete your first real project!
Class Schedule:
- Wednesdays | 6-8pm
- April 1, April 8, April 15
Class Fee: $129 per student
Fee Includes: All three sessions and Beginner Knitting Kit
Beginner Knitting Kit: Each student will receive a curated Beginner Knitting Kit with everything needed to get started, including yarn (one skein of Malabrigo Rios), knitting needles, essential notions, and a beginner knitting book to take home so you can continue practicing after class.
Experience Level: No prior knitting experience is required. This class is designed for complete beginners.
Who This Class is For: This class is designed for ages 16 and up. Students younger than 16 may attend if accompanied by a parent or guardian who is also registered for the class. Each participant must reserve their own seat as class space is limited.
Class Policies:
- Payment is due at time of registration to reserve your seat.
- Due to limited seating, missed classes are non-refundable.
- If you need to cancel, please notify us at least 7 days prior to class date. Cancellations received after March 31, 2026 will not be eligible for a refund unless we able to find another learner to take your place.
