CLASS | How to Fix Your Knitting Mistakes - September 2026

Oh no! You dropped a stitch. Now what?

Every knitter makes mistakes but knowing how to fix them is what builds confidence.

In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn how to read your knitting so you can recognize, fix and even prevent some of the most common knitting mistakes. You’ll practice techniques in a relaxed, supportive environment and leave will skills you can use on every project.

In this class you’ll learn:

●        How to fix dropped stitches

●        How to identify and correct twisted stitches

●        How to recognize and remove accidental yarn-overs

Bring your knitting question! As time permits, we’ll work through additional mistakes and techniques that come up during class.

Please bring:

·       A swatch worked in a light, solid-colored DK or worsted weight yarn

o   Cast on 40 stitches and knit approximately 2 inches

o   Leave the stiches on the needles – do not bind off

Need supplies? Registered students receive 10% off all class materials purchased at Fiber Fever any time before the class (limited to one use). On the day of the class, you’ll also receive 10% off any additional in-store purchases made during class hours. 

Class Schedule:

●        Wednesday | 6:30-8:30 p.m.

●        September 2, 2026

Class Fee: $38 per student

Fee Includes: One two-hour session of small-group instruction.

Experience Level: Some prior knitting experience is required. Students should be comfortable knitting and purling and have experience working both stockinette and garter stitches. This class is ideal for advanced beginners and beyond.

Who This Class is For: This class is designed for ages 16 and up. Students younger than 16 may attend if accompanied by a parent or guardian who is also registered for the class. Each participant must register separately, as class space is limited.

Class Policies:

●        Payment is due at time of registration to reserve your seat.

●        Due to limited seating, missed classes are non-refundable.

●        If you need to cancel, please notify us at least 7 days before class. Cancellations received after August 26, 2026 will not be eligible for a refund unless we are able to find another learner to take your place.
