This extra soft yarn is made up of a precious blend of mohair and silk, like its traditional version, but with an added touch of lamé that makes it even more elegant, feminine, and, most of all, luminous. A must-try! The dyes are Oeko-Tex standard 100 certified.

Perfect for super warm, ultralight pieces stratified as desired.

It’s really easy to work and has a high yield: just 50 g / 1.76 oz is enough to make a hat or a neck warmer.

TECHNIQUES

Fluffy is worked with thin knitting needles and crochet hooks. The yarn looks stunning when worked double or triple, giving a voluminous yet ultra-light result. It also looks great when woven, either on its own or combined with other yarns, and can even be used for embroidery.

TIPS

With knitting needles: works beautifully in stockinette stitch and other patterns, including raised and lacy designs.

With crochet hooks: single crochet stitches create a compact texture, but thanks to the yarn’s smoothness, you can easily work all types of stitches. If you work with a single strand, keep in mind that it takes time.

On the loom: great on a rigid heddle loom with a 32:10 reed (3.2 ends/cm). Fluffy is recommended for experienced weavers only, as it does not allow for unweaving in case of mistakes. Can be used as both warp and weft. The hand is soft, making it ideal for fashion accessories or garments that touch the skin.
